Bangkok 13th July 2015.
Today was a business day. After 3 tries I got the sim card and I already have internet on my phone. When I arrived at the Art Café at the Bangkok Art and Cultural Centre where the meeting was scheduled, it was closed. Today is Monday! What happens to almost all Art Galleries on the world? They are closed on Monday! None one of us thought of that.
I was early like always, I like to be in time, because you don’t know what can happen on the way. I prefer to wait (not too long) than make people wait for me. It was very hot and I was dressed like a business woman, and for sure with stilettos. Think fast! I took a look around me and there was an Ibis Hotel two buildings ahead. I went into the café, sat there and called up my colleague. Our business partner stays in Dubai, and they are in talks for some projects, meantime we are trying to tap the market in Myanmar through Thailand.
We went to another cool café for the meeting, while waiting for the architect we had a delicious cold coffee with chocolate and cinnamon. We were in the meeting for 3 hours talking, talking and talking…. When the meeting ended and they left, we decided to have some food as well as we had no lunch. It was 5pm and I was so hungry.
We moved to another restaurant and after read the menu we ordered mini Burgers as he is an American. I am not a burger person, but I have to say that even after living in India for 3 years when I have the opportunity to have a 100% beef burger, I am burger girl and moreso if there are Specials. Burger with vegetable for star, burger with bacon for main meal and for dessert burger with strawberry. Yummy!
It was getting dark when I left for home and I was thinking of going for a swim. When I arrived home my brother-in-law and his Korean colleague were there. The Korean and I went to swim. The pool at night is so good, all dark with a few lights around the area and inside the pool. We swam in silence for a while and then we talked about Korea and Spain. He had been to Spain several times and on one of his business trips he visited my parents place with my bother-in –law and my sister to have a Paella. I ordered a set of Korean chopsticks for him on my next trip to Bangkok. He said that one set for me and one for my niece. There are also chopsticks for kids; they have some notches to support the fingers correctly. I wanted to tell him to bring me a set for kids also. Korean chopsticks are made of steel.
I am so relaxed, I had some fruit and I went bed. Good night!

Today is my brother-in-law’s birthday; we went with a group of his friends for dinner in an Italian restaurant. Spanish, Korean and Argentinean people. It was so good! Happy birthday to you!
This morning I lunched at a Japanese restaurant with a Spanish couple. Meat, meat and more meat! Awesome!
I am going to sleep like a well fed baby.
Yesterday I worked for a while and then I went for a swim and a tan at the pool. Lunch was at the food court of a mall close to home, when I had the second Pat Thai of the trip, and later I had a Coffee Mocha at Starbucks with two of my sister’s friends and I had Jamon Iberico for dinner.

Good morning! I am in the swimming pool area at 9.30am having my second breakfast and enjoying my time. I went to bed early last night. I had snack-dinner at a Spanish friend’s house. We took away food from “ la esquina” restaurant. I had the 3rd Pat Thai of the trip.
I am not sure if I’m going out tonight as its Friday, I am in off mode. No think, I’ll just relax! I take it easy!
After a hard working morning I got a massage and I went to have lunch (Spanish time) at my Lebanese friend’s house and more coffee. I don’t know what has happened on this trip but I am feeling drowsy. Oh yeah! I know it, I am so relaxed!
I came home after a girl’s afternoon, my brother-in-low and the Korean guy are leaving for a business dinner I could join them later, but I have decided to have a 4th Pad Thai on this trip from the street and go bed early. Do you know Durian fruit? And moon cake? You should try it!!!

Happy Birthday my sister! My last day in Bangkok I wanted to do something different. So I went to another pool, and after that I got ready to leave Bangkok, but before that on the way to the airport my brother-in-law and I stopped at Zen, a Japanese restaurant, that my sister loves. Why not?
I am ready to take off. This week in Bangkok went off the way I wanted: Business, eating and a relaxing week.
Thanks family!!!! Mumbai here we come again!!!
